Survey & heatmaps
Predictive design from your floor plan, then an on-site walk survey to confirm signal, noise and interference.
- Pre- and post-install heatmaps
- Design target −67 dBm for voice*
Wi-Fi planned from a survey, not a guess — then watched 24×7.
XcellHost surveys your floors, designs the access-point and channel plan, installs and configures it, and runs it from the Mumbai NOC: OTP guest login with the records Indian rules expect, separate networks for staff, guests and devices, and an alert before anyone at the front desk notices.
Managed Wi-Fi means one team owns your wireless network end to end: where each access point goes and why, which channels and power they use, who may join which network, and what happens at 2 a.m. when one stops answering. Most Wi-Fi complaints — the dead corner, the conference room that drops calls, the guest network that slows billing — come from guesswork at install time and nobody watching afterwards.
XcellHost starts with a survey and heatmap, designs for the devices you really have (including Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 on the 6 GHz band India de-licensed in January 2026), installs and configures it, then monitors it from the 24×7 NOC in Mumbai. Guest access uses mobile-number OTP with login records kept for a year, staff and IoT devices sit on separate segments, and you get one per-access-point bill in rupees with GST.
Each capability is part of the managed service, not an extra you discover later. Hover a card for what we actually do.
Predictive design from your floor plan, then an on-site walk survey to confirm signal, noise and interference.
We pick the generation by your devices and density — and use the 6 GHz band where your clients support it.
APs run from a cloud or on-site controller with templates, so a new floor or store gets the same settings.
Guests verify a mobile number by OTP, accept your notice, and get a timed pass. Each login is recorded.
Staff, guest and device networks map to separate VLANs and firewall rules, with WPA3 where devices allow.
Unknown devices are checked before they get access; rogue and look-alike APs are spotted and contained.
Fast roaming between APs so a video call keeps going from desk to meeting room.
AP health, client experience and interference watched by the XcellHost NOC, with a monthly report.
India's lower 6 GHz band gives 500 MHz of licence-free spectrum for indoor and very-low-power use. Actual channels depend on the AP model, the rules and the survey.
Each SSID lands on its own VLAN. The firewall and NAC decide what each segment may reach; the controller and the NOC sit on a separate management path.
802.1X with your directory (Entra ID or AD) and WPA3-Enterprise; devices that fail NAC posture go to quarantine.
OTP portal, timed passes, per-user rate limits, client isolation, internet only — never your LAN.
CCTV, printers, POS and sensors on their own segment with allow-listed destinations.
Controller, switch and AP management isolated, monitored by the NOC, logs kept 180 days in India.
Pick a setting to see what usually drives the design there.
* Illustrative. The survey sets the real spacing.
The same engineers who design the network hand it to the XcellHost NOC, so nothing gets lost between the project and the support desk.
Predictive model from your floor plans, on-site walk survey with a spectrum check, then an AP, channel and SSID design you sign off.
APs mounted and cabled, PoE checked, controller and portal configured, then a validation survey proves the coverage you were promised.
AP, switch-port and client health watched around the clock; faults ticketed and fixed remotely, with field visits where needed.
XcellHost helps you meet these requirements; your legal and compliance team decides what applies to your setup.

DoT's 2009 directions say hotspot users are authenticated centrally — for example a login sent by SMS to their mobile — and the mobile-to-login record is kept for one year. Leased-line customers who run their own Wi-Fi are expected to run central authentication or use their provider's.
Under DoT's PM-WANI framework, users verify their mobile number by OTP and the aggregator stores user data for one year, with user data and usage logs kept in India. We can design for PM-WANI or for private guest Wi-Fi.
Report specified cyber incidents within 6 hours, keep ICT system logs for a rolling 180 days, and sync clocks to NIC or NPL time servers. Controller, AP and portal logs are kept and time-synced to support this.
A guest's mobile number is personal data. The portal shows a notice, takes consent for the stated purpose, and records are deleted when the retention period ends.
DoT exempted 5925–6425 MHz from licensing for low-power indoor (up to 30 dBm EIRP) and very-low-power (up to 14 dBm) Wi-Fi. Use in cars, trains, boats, drones and most aircraft is excluded. We deploy only India-compliant 6 GHz APs.
Banks, NBFCs and regulated entities are expected to segment networks and control wireless access. Guest isolation, 802.1X for staff and logged changes give auditors clear evidence.
Bring your own supported APs or have XcellHost supply them on quote. Indicative — confirm with XcellHost. INR excl. 18% GST.
Monitoring and care for offices with simple guest needs.
Guest OTP, security and tuning for busy, visitor-facing sites.
Large campuses, hotels and regulated sites with custom needs.
* Indicative — confirm with XcellHost. Access points, switches, cabling and internet links are billed separately or supplied on quote. SMS charges for guest OTP are billed at actuals*.
₹14,999* one-time per site. Set 0 if a recent survey already exists.
Coverage and capacity are worked out separately; the larger number wins. A survey always confirms it.
Assumptions (illustrative): coverage per AP 2,800 / 1,900 / 1,200 / 3,600 sq ft by building type; 70% of devices active at once; 45 / 30 / 18 active clients per AP by use.
Tick what you have today. The check shows the gaps and sizes a year of login and session records.
Sizing is illustrative: about 0.5 KB per login record and 40 session or NAT log lines of 200 bytes per login. Check your obligations with your legal team.
Send drawings, headcount and the devices you use. Photos work if there are no drawings.
We model AP positions and send a per-AP quote with hardware options.
An engineer walks the site, checks interference and confirms the design.
Install in an agreed window, then a validation heatmap and handover pack.
The NOC takes over monitoring, changes and the monthly report.
