GitHub Enterprise Cloud data residency is not offered in India today, so we host GitHub Enterprise Server in our Mumbai Tier IV data centre when code must stay here. We also run self-hosted Actions runners, connect Enterprise Managed Users to Microsoft Entra ID and roll out Copilot and GitHub's security products.

GitHub publishes minimum hardware per licence band for GHES 3.22. We map it to the smallest XcellHost General Compute VM that meets both vCPU and memory, and add 25% when Actions or Code Security run on the appliance, as GitHub advises.

GitHub lists Team at US$4 and Enterprise at US$21 per user a month (github.com/pricing, 7 November 2026). Taxes apply. We send a formal quote in USD or INR as the channel allows.
Not today. GitHub's data residency regions on 7 November 2026 are the EU (including EFTA countries), Australia, the US and Japan. GitHub says more regions are planned. If code must stay in India, GitHub Enterprise Server hosted in Mumbai is the option we recommend.
GitHub's docs list Copilot Business at US$19 and Copilot Enterprise at US$39 per granted seat a month, with 1,900 and 3,900 AI credits per user pooled; extra usage is US$0.01 per credit. Individuals can choose Free, Pro (US$10), Pro+ (US$39) or Max (US$100).
Since 1 April 2025 GitHub sells GitHub Secret Protection at US$19 and GitHub Code Security at US$30 per active committer a month. They can be bought separately, and Team plan customers can buy them as well as Enterprise customers.
We start from GitHub's minimums for your licence band. Up to 1,000 licences needs 8 vCPU and 48 GB memory, which we place on a G1.4xlarge at ₹19,199 a month, plus 400 GB root and 500 GB data storage. We add 25% CPU and memory if Actions or Code Security run on the appliance.
It depends on minutes and machine size. Hosted Linux 2-core runners cost US$0.006 a minute and larger runners more; a self-hosted VM costs the same each month however busy it is. Use the runner compare tool with your own minutes, and remember GitHub has said it may charge a platform fee for self-hosted runners in future.
GitHub lets enterprises connect an Azure subscription for billing, and usage-based billing is available for Enterprise and Advanced Security. As a Microsoft Gold Partner we can help you set that up or bill licences through XcellHost.
It is a GitHub Enterprise Cloud mode where your identity provider creates and controls the accounts. With Entra ID, users are provisioned by SCIM, sign in through SSO and lose access when they leave. GHE.com with data residency always uses EMU.
Yes. GitHub Enterprise Importer supports Azure DevOps Cloud, Bitbucket Server and Data Center 5.14+, GitLab, GitHub.com and GHES 3.4.1+ as sources. We run a dry run, rewrite pipelines as Actions workflows and cut over in a planned window.
