GitLab runs scanners in the pipeline and shows the results in the merge request. Basic SAST and secret detection work on every tier; the full set, with the vulnerability report and security policies, is part of Ultimate.

We follow GitLab's reference architectures. Up to 20 requests per second, about 1,000 users, runs on one node with 8 vCPU and 16 GB memory, which we place on a G1.2xlarge at ₹9,599 a month. Larger sizes split Rails, Sidekiq, Gitaly, PostgreSQL and Redis across nodes; the 3,000-user design is the first with high availability.
GitLab's docs list Duo Core (included with Premium and Ultimate on 18.0+), Duo Pro and Duo Enterprise (seat-based add-ons), and the Duo Agent Platform, which uses GitLab Credits. Self-Managed customers with their own models can use the Agent Platform Self-Hosted add-on from GitLab 18.8.
